*These compiled volumes include raw pages from the Japanese volumes to keep the page count and numbering correct for ‘complete’ tank-style volumes.*
- Volumes 1 and 2 .5 chapters are raw, volume 4 .5 chapter is partial translated by UP!, volume 6 .5 chapter is fully translated by UP!.
*The JPEG-XL images are created from the denoised PNGs after converting from AVIF.*
**I MADE THE (OAKII) RELEASE OF THIS SERIES OBSOLETE WITH THESE. AFTER DENOISING WITH THE LATEST MODELS, THEY EVEN WERE BIGGER!**
----
To open JPEG-XL images your reading software need to support this.
Komga, Mihon and other modern apps *should* be able to open JXL files. Kavita is working on JPEG-XL support.
In case for Komga, when it is serving to an application or browser that does not support JXL, it is converted to JPEG automatically.
For YacReader Windows, download the [qjpegxl6.dll](https://github.com/novomesk/qt-jpegxl-image-plugin/releases) and place it inside `C:\Program Files\YACReader\imageformats\`.

uh? I tought jxl was already dead lol
Like 5 years ago a guy in the Fap section was pushing it swearing it'll become the new mainstream picture format of the future in no time, or something along those lines.
It's really the few retards over at (Google) Chrome that are blocking JPEG-XL and are trying to push AVIF. AVIF on the other hand is horrible for manga IMO.
Besides, for archiving, this which is visibly lossless saves a lot of storage, from 3,44GB 24-bit PNGs (after denoising the horrible AVIFs) to 727MB.
